Pressure tested
The pre-charged valve assembly is rated to handle 921 PSI and checked for leaks.

Ductless Mini-Splits
A single-zone mini-split a homeowner can install with a pre-charged line set. How Much? can also install it for you.

What you are getting
How it goes in
The indoor head and the outdoor unit connect with a pre-charged line set. You are not pulling a vacuum or weighing in refrigerant on the driveway. How Much? can still do the whole install if you would rather not.

The pre-charged valve assembly is rated to handle 921 PSI and checked for leaks.
The valve control is certified under UL 207 and CSA C22.2 No. 140.3. Intertek file 5029931.
This generation uses R-454B, the refrigerant these current DIY systems are built around.
The charge is already in the line set, so the install skips the vacuum and the gauge set.
Why this one
This is the system for a room the rest of the house never quite gets right. A bedroom that bakes, a garage you actually sit in, an addition with no duct. The line set shows up already charged, so the hard part of a mini-split is already done.

It keeps heating when it is down to -13 F outside, and it keeps cooling when the yard hits 122 F. You feel that on the first cold night and the first week of September, not on a spec sheet.
One head, one room, one setting. You are not bargaining with a hallway thermostat that thinks the whole house is the living room. Five sizes run from a bedroom up to about 1,550 square feet. If the room is bigger than that, or you need a second head, this is the wrong box and we will say so.

The indoor unit is what you live with. It should disappear once the lights are off. After a power blink it comes back on the settings you left, including the louver, instead of waiting for someone to reprogram it in the dark.
This generation uses R-454B. Earlier DIY systems used R-410A.
A bundled system includes the communication wire so the two pieces can talk to each other.
The line set is made for a homeowner install. How Much? will also mount it, run it, and stand behind the work if you want that.
A single-zone system covers one space. Multi-zone condensers in this family support anywhere from 2 to 6 indoor heads, depending on the model.
