Pressure tested
The pre-charged valve assembly is rated to handle 921 PSI and checked for leaks.

Ductless Mini-Splits
A DIY multi-room mini-split for homes that want more than one head on a single outdoor unit.

What you are getting
How it goes in
Easy Pro is the multi-room version. Each head gets its own line set, still pre-charged, and its own temperature. The outdoor unit is sized to the number of zones.

The pre-charged valve assembly is rated to handle 921 PSI and checked for leaks.
The valve control is certified under UL 207 and CSA C22.2 No. 140.3. Intertek file 5029931.
This generation uses R-454B, the refrigerant these current DIY systems are built around.
The charge is already in the line set, so the install skips the vacuum and the gauge set.
Why this one
Easy Pro is the kit for a house that has two or three problem rooms, not one. Each head gets its own line set and its own temperature. The outdoor unit is sized to the number of zones, and the line lengths have to match it.

One person sleeps cold. One works from a hot office. A single hallway thermostat will not settle that argument. Each head on Easy Pro has its own setpoint, so the rooms stop sharing a compromise.
A small three-zone condenser does not get the same total line length as a six-zone. Andy checks the path from each head to the pad before anyone orders line set. A kit that cannot reach the third room is an expensive mistake.

That is the whole point of zones. The bedroom can be cool with the door shut. The living room can stay where everyone else wants it. You are not conditioning empty rooms to make one of them comfortable.
This generation uses R-454B. Earlier DIY systems used R-410A.
A bundled system includes the communication wire so the two pieces can talk to each other.
The line set is made for a homeowner install. How Much? will also mount it, run it, and stand behind the work if you want that.
It depends on the condenser. A small three-zone 18,000 BTU condenser supports about 123 feet total. The largest six-zone condenser supports a much longer combined run. Andy checks the layout before anyone orders line set.
